Have you ever wanted to improve your mental toughness in a tennis match?  Do you have a great voice but panic at the thought of singing in front of others?  Have you found yourself blowing the putt that you knew should just roll in?  You keep taking lessons and play great but can't seem to bring it to the actual game?  Does it terrify you to speak in front of a group when asked to make a presentation at work?

 

Often it's the mental part of a sport or performance that is getting in your way.  Understanding why you panic or choke, and what to do instead can make a world of difference.  This isn't therapy, it's coaching the mental game.  Just like skill building with your pro, you will learn methods to improve what you are thinking.  Using hypnosis, mindfulness, and several other approaches you can  start keeping your head in the performance. 

 

I draw on all of these techniques in my own endeavors, whether running a half marathon, playing in a tennis match, or competing in multi-day motorcycle endurance rallies.  I also use them to deal with any situation that arises that challenges me to bring my performance up a notch both at work and in my personal life.
